Ashram
Baba Vrindavan Nikunja Dham
Location
The Ashram is located outside of Kathmandu City (north) at the base of the hilly and sacred Shivapuri Mountain near the famous Vishnu Temple at Budhanilkantha.
It was established in 2012, whereas its temple - Shri Radha Madhava Temple – was inaugurated in 2015.

The Ashram is around 1 km upwards from the Temple of Lord Vishnu in Budhanilkantha. It lies embedded in a slope flowed around by two small streams (considering to be Ganga and Yamuna). Due to the land’s natural condition and being near the primary woodland of Shivapuri Nagarjun National Park nature is omnipresent.
The Ashram is based on the ancient tradition of Vaishnavism, a path of Bhakti yoga in the lineage of Nimbarka Sampradaya.
The worship of the Deities is one of the nine practices of all Vaishnava Sampradayas. We hold the morning Arati at around 8.30-9.00. The priest will be present from 07.00-09.00. In the afternoon the ashram is not open to the public.

Narayan Baba is the founder of the ashram. He founded the ashram based on some metaphysical experiences.
Festivals
If you would like to participate on the Festivals and celebrate Ekadashi or other festivities with us, then you are welcome.
Reaching here
There are micro-buses frequently running from the town centre to the famous Vishnu Temple. To move 1 km upwards there are taxis available in Budhanilkantha. Occasionally micro-buses drive on a parallel street up to the Vipassana meditation centre which is around 300 m further up of our Ashram. For the light-footed, it takes about 20 minutes to walk up from Budhanilkantha.
